Pre-Elections

Well as most of you know, I am in Las Vegas to assist in the Presidential Elections. This is what I have learned so far:
  1. If you call an elderly individual who doesn't see many people and watches the news all day... they will talk until you hang up on them.
  2. If talking fast enough, you can tell someone on the phone your name is "Batman" and they won't even catch it.
  3. If you are a Republican and you follow a Democrat around a neighborhood knocking on the same doors, the Democrats get really angry.
  4. They say you can never have enough helping hands. I disagree, and I could have pointed out why about 12 times today.
  5. Some college students are stupid and think if they hide in their room I won't find them and forget about them. Then get mad when I chew them out for being idiots.
  6. The Nevada Republican Party isn't used to having to work so hard to get votes.
  7. According to the Nevada Republican Party, any student from Utah is from BYU, even if you arn't.
So I also have to mention what happened the other day while I was doing my early voting in Saint George. I got to see one of Santa's elves voting!!! He looked just like Will Farrell from the movie "elf." I thought that was the funniest thing ever and had to share. O yea, it was Halloween.
